Beth (aka Mary Beth) Fortunato and her family moved to our peaceful, coastal village of Hampstead, NC in January of 1996. According to her, moving here from Long Island, NY was a verywise choice!
After graduating from SUNY Brockport where she majored in Health & Geriatric Recreation and Hofstra University where she received a Master's Degree in Gerontology, she pursued a career working with retirees and their families.
Upon relocating to Hampstead with husband, Jim (a custom home builder) and their three daughters, Beth worked with Jim to establish Fortunato Builders, Inc. The marketing aspects of new home construction combined with a desire to help people relocate/retire to this wonderful area led Beth to her present job at Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty.
